The Nigerian federal government has been urged to put its shame aside and seek assistance from more sophisticated nations due to the ongoing insecurity in the nation by Nollywood star Ime Bishop Umoh.
He also issued a warning to nations who appeared to be ignoring Nigeria’s difficulties, saying that if they do nothing and the situation gets out of hand, it will have an impact on other nearby countries as well.
According to Okon Lagos, if political leaders aren’t embarrassed to seek medical treatment abroad, they shouldn’t be hesitant to approach more developed nations for assistance in addressing insecurity.

Recall that as the general elections in 2023 get closer, Nollywood actor Ime Bishop Umoh, well known as Okon Lagos, said he would sell his votes to any candidate who would give him what he demanded.
Okon Lagos asserted in a video posted to his Instagram page that politicians typically appear once every four years and that it is prudent to make a lot of money from them in order to support oneself until the next election season, when they would return to ask for votes.
Okon Lagos stated that he would be prepared to sell his votes for $1000 each day at the appropriate price. He explained that one year consists of 365 days, and that one year is equal to 1, 460 days when multiplied by four years. He claimed to multiply $1000 by 1,460, which is $1,460,000 in total. In order to convert his money, he stated he would offer a rate of N500 to a dollar, which would equal N730 million.
He claims that this will be enough to support him until another politician comes along to “purchase” his vote in four years.
