The governor of Osun State and candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state’s recently held governorship election, Gboyega Oyetola, is ready to use legal methods to have the results overturned in his favour.

Remember that Senator Ademola Adeleke, a candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), was proclaimed the victor of the Osun gubernatorial election conducted on Saturday, July 16, 2022.

Adeleke received 403,371 PDP votes, defeating Oyetola and the APC with 375,027, and 2,729 Labour Party, LP votes for Lasun Yusuf.

Senator Ademola Adeleke, the newly elected governor of Osun State, has cautioned the Independent National Electoral Commission from tampering with the voting equipment used in the Osun State governorship election on July 16 in an effort to support the All Progressives Congress.

Adeleke said that there were rumours that the APC leadership was working with INEC to tamper with some election documents that would be used against his win at the Election Petition Tribunal in a press statement signed by Prince Diran Odeyemi, the head of his media management team.
