APC Edo Chieftain Evades the Kidnapper’s Den

Godwin Aigbogun, the All Progressives Congress chairman who was kidnapped in Edo State’s Ward 9 of Orhionmwon Local Government, is now free.

On Wednesday morning, Barrister Peter Uwadiae, the state publicity secretary, verified his escape and stated he has now reunited with his family.

“I can attest to the fact that he has fled from the captors’ lair. I have no idea how he managed to do that, but I must applaud him for his boldness. The state’s APC family is delighted by this. He has now joined the family, according to PUNCH.

Akeredolu’s Muslim-Muslim Ticket: Ignore Religion, Vote Based on Competence

post-image

Rotimi Akeredolu, the governor of Ondo State and chairman of the Southern Governors Forum, urged Nigerians on Wednesday to vote for competence in the next general elections, stressing that the outcome of the vice president would not have an impact on the effectiveness of any administration.

The job ends at the president’s desk, according to Akeredolu, who expressed confidence that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC’s presidential candidate, will save the country.

“Muslim-Muslim Ticket has nothing to do with performance,” said Akeredolu. Let’s cast our votes for a capable candidate. At the President’s desk, the task is completed. You are choosing the President in this election. He makes the decisions. Because we in the South fought for this, it shouldn’t matter if it’s a Muslim/Muslim or a Christian/Christian.

He said, “I have no doubt that Asiwaju Tinubu, given…
